Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes, an American actress best known for playing detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS detective procedural drama CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence and The Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama series The Resident. She was also recognized for her TV debut as Eleni Andros cooper on CBS's soap opera Guiding Light. Some of her notable films include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted to a movie with Vlas Parlapanides (the pair who created The Immortals) is thought to be in development. Her upcoming TV series, Gods & Heroes is currently working on.
