Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She coaches and trains in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie is the only woman to take home the CrossFit Games twice. Annie was second at the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter and media celebrity. Her fame was boosted by her being the first woman to have won two CrossFit Games, in 2011 as well as 2012 She is also known for taking home in the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. From the age of a child, she has been a sport and fitness fanatic. She first competed in CrossFit in California in 2009. The performance she showed was impressive during her first competitions. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 years old older (as at 2021). She's 5'7 tall and weighs 67 kg. Annie began CrossFit when she was in California. Annie was able to do quite well through the first couple of games. She was among the top 10 of over 70. The team was unable to earn any titles, but ended up in 11th place on the list of final results. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came second and took home an Olympic silver medal that same year. Due to her outstanding performance, she was able to take home her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie was the first woman who has ever won in consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to the extraordinary performance. Additionally, in 2014, she was awarded a silver medal and recently in 2021 won a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Presently Annie is a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. In the last few years, as an athlete, Annie is a model for a number of brands in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Nuun Hydration-Periodization Sidekick, Yerbae among many others. There are a few thousand subscribers to her self-titled Youtube channel where videos of training along with travel vlogs, family and training videos are shared.
